The face of the new website on the Internet

The Nigerian Television Authority has successfully relaunched her new website as one of the strategies earmarked by the Mallam Usman Magawata led administration to consolidate the Authority’s leading position as the Africa’s largest network.
According to a statement issued by the Information Technology (IT) Department, headed by Engr. Tunde Aina, the new website, which has been described by IT experts as a world class presentation can be accessed on: www.nta.com.ng . Giving information on the effectiveness of the site, Engr. Aina explainned that “the website as it is meets all the criteria of an international website. We have taken our time to develop the site and we have been on it since the last six months. It was important we take our time on it because we took a decision from day one to have a befitting site for the largest network in Africa. To say the truth, we are grateful to the DG, Mallam Usman Magawata and the Management for all the support all this while.” Continuing, Aina noted that the website even as it is – is still being worked on – because NTA is desirous to present an enviable IT regime that can push the rating of the Authority further.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Office of the Minister of Information and Communications has paid glowing tribute to the high standard of the website. With a look of a pleasant surprise and appreciation on his face, the officer informed that with his familiarity and expertise with websites, NTA’s new website is one of the best he had seen. He congratulated the Authority and urged it to work harder to make sure that the excellent standard is maintained.
The staff of the Authority nationwide, business associates, friends and well wishers of NTA have been called upon to visit the website (www.nta.com.ng) regularly and capitalize on the regular feed of information available on the site. In the words of Aina, “A website is truly effective when visitors go there and use the facility. Through that we expect feedback on suggestions that would further help us to improve on the site for better efficiency.”
